► Ryan Radomski
Ryan works as a Safety Manager for the Arlington, Virginia based multi-family general contractor CBG Building Company. His personal passion for safety comes from a first hand experience of an accident involving a family member in the workplace. He is proud to work alongside the best safety professionals in the construction industry who help to implement best-in-class policies to make the industry safer for construction workers across the region.
Ryan has been a member of WMACSA since 2020 and was elected to the board of directors in 2023. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Safety Management from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. He also holds a BCSP Graduate Safety Professional (GSP) designation, IHMM Associate Safety and Health Professional (ASHM) designation, IHMM Certified Safety Management Practitioner (CSMP) designation, and a Passive House Institute Certified Passive House Tradesperson (CPHT) designation.
► Alex Rodas
Alex has worked in the construction industry since 2003 and has been involved in Safety since 2006.
He has worked on complex projects and has helped Miller & Long Concrete build some of the most outstanding structures in the nation’s capital. His mission is to influence our workforce by educating and coaching them to make right decisions on the job. He also believes in growing our Safety Community. He has been a member of WMACSA since 2009 and has been part of the planning committee of the Metropolitan Area Construction Safety Conference (MACSC). He has also involve in the MOSH Strategic Partnership Program (SPECS) and serve as STEP Task Force Chair at the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Metro Chapter. Our goal is to mentor peer contractors in their pursuit of safety excellence.
► Jose Valdizan
With over 15 years of dedicated experience in occupational safety and health management, Jose Valdizan is a seasoned professional committed to ensuring workplace safety and regulatory compliance. Throughout his career, Jose has demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive safety programs that prioritize employee well-being and minimize workplace hazards. Jose's dedication to safety excellence has resulted in measurable improvements in accident rates, worker morale, and regulatory compliance across the organizations he has served. His proactive approach, coupled with strong leadership skills, makes him a valuable asset in any safety management role.

► John Pilkinton
John Pilkinton is a 2020 graduate of the Virginia military institute holding a bachelor's degree in civil and environmental engineering. His career in the professional world began after he was commissioned in the army as a 2nd lieutenant and went on to assist in leading a battery of artillery soldiers. During his time in the army on reserve duty, his job as a bridge inspection engineer took a majority of his time. He has inspected over 300 bridges and assisted in the design of around 20 other bridges before entering the general contracting world with CBG Building Company in late 2021.
During his time in the field, he was leading facade and skin on the large Pooks Hill project in Bethesda, Maryland. 2 years into the project, he decided to make the switch to safety in order to help protect workers. He is now an Assistant Safety Manager assigned to three projects and looks forward to the challenges coming his way. He would be honored to serve as WMACSA's CTO to help progress the organization and continue to protect construction workers in our region.
► Eddie Arthur
Eddie is a recognized subject matter expert in Personal Protective Equipment with areas of expertise in Fall Protection/Confined Space and Traffic Safety. Experience includes 15 years as a distributor of safety products to construction, State/local government and industrial facilities.
The past 5 years have been with Sales Solutions Inc. as an independent manufacturer representative serving the same markets. Certifications include: OSHA 500 Authorized Instructor, QSSP (Qualified Safety Sales Professional), VDOT Intermediate Traffic Control Supervisor, High Angle Rescue Train the trainer, FallTech Competent Person Fall Protection/Inspector and Permit Required Confined Spaces.
