founder's continuing education program

In 2022, the WMACSA board established a scholarship fund for DMV area students and professionals looking to further their education in the construction safety industry. You can find more information about the program below.

Our first recipient in 2023 was Nicole Gardener. You can read her thank you letter to the WMACSA board below.

This scholarship is funded by our monthly meeting sponsorships. If you are interested in sponsoring, click the sponsorship button.

WMACSA is offering $3,000 to be distributed to those that are enrolled in a safety related certification, degree, or other education program.

An additional $1,000 will be distributed to those looking to advance their career with professional certifications (i.e. BCSP IHMM, etc.)

• Three (3) persons selected will receive a $1,000 scholarship toward their degree or program
• Two (2) persons selected will receive a $500 grant toward professional certification application fees
